Faith Art Canvas

 

 

 

 

Are you ready  to playfully experiment and raise your creative voice to God in praise?

 Creativity is not reserved only for “artists”….we are ALL creative because we were made in the image of the Master Creator.  Beginning with prayer, we will seek God’s presence during this creative time.  We will worship Him with our hands, hearts and minds through the process of creating a faith art canvas that symbolizes His word.

 Come and create a 12 x 12 faith art canvas at Adore HIM Creations art studio. You will learn how to use gesso with stencils to create depth on a stretched canvas.  Spray color washes and acrylic paint are added to complete the beautiful composition.  The crowning piece is the bible verse.

 Even if you haven’t ever done art before, or think you have no artistic talents, you will be guided step by step to create your unique  faith art canvas.  Color choice is available. Printed bible verse will be provided. 

Cost:  $30  Includes:

• 12 x 12 stretched canvas
• gesso
• paint
• stencils
• printed bible verse
• high gloss spray finish.

FaithArt Canvas workshop dates:  can be done at any open studio date  $30 per canvas

One Little Word FaithArt

 

 

 

There is great power in the Word of God.  The “one little word” project is an attempt to explore the power of that Word as given to an individual through prayer, bible study and reflection.

 Once you have your OLW, come individually or as a small group  and create a 11 x 14 or 16 x 20 canvas. Even those who profess to  have no artistic talents, will be guided to create a unique faith art canvas. 

 Requirements: complete the OLW worksheet  find it  here

 Cost:  11 x14  $30 or 16 x 20 $35  canvas board, chipboard letters, paint, stencils, small mirror, clock, key and other  embellishments, and use of  the  enormous stamp collection at the studio. You are  welcome to bring additional  stickers/rub-ons to  embellish your canvas  ( old wristwatches, old jewelry, etc)

 Time: (3-5 hours to  complete)

    $30 or $35 per person (depends on canvas size)

( you can do the OLW canvas at an open studio event also)

I just found you and have discovered lots of people do what I do! Hallelujah!!! I've journaled my way through grief since my husband died in 2009. He was a pastor and in so doing have opened up a whole new world! I need to find out WHERE your workshops are. I see the schedule but didn't see where. Are they only online?
