The LOGOS365™ project is His Kingdom Come's way of finding your word through prayer, bible study and reflection. What do you do with your logos365™? You live with it, you invite it into your life, and you let it speak to you. You follow where it leads you. Your logos365™ is not some promise you will keep for the rest of the year to be better. The intent of your word is that it will become a part of you for the rest of your life. You word builds upon each other each year, and springs forth from the places you feel you left off from your previous word. Each word you choose builds upon each other as God’s heart becomes embedded in your character. So, the question is
Where does God want you to go this year?
Who do you want to become in light of who God has called you to be?
I used the returning student worksheet from the free LOGOS365 EBook and looked back over my LOGOS365 for 2015 first. My word in 2015 was huperpleanozo. You can read all about my journey here. I want all of our His Kingdom Come community to understand the process, so here is most of my worksheet.
UNRAVELING 2015 and huperpleanozo.
What disappointed me? Starting HKC with 5 women on the foundation team, and then three of them left for other callings in their lives in October. Felt sad and scared, but God has taken the “wheel” and Shonna and I are able to keep HKC up and running and we are growing! Disappointed in my family relationships, but learning to live in peace with their choices. I have been blessed with a life that is peaceful and full- of friends, neighbors, HKC, faithart, fun and spiritual growth.
What surprised me? God blessed me through HKC and my personal blog- Adore HIM Creations. He gave me new friends and partners and established HKC and it has flourished. My dream of creating faithart products was realized when HKC launched our line of stencils, stamps, thermofax screens and canvas products. The stencil and stamp line has been very successful, proving there is a need and desire for faithart products. I learned the Huperpleanozo (exceedingly abundantly) is not about money- it was about living the life God intended for me. Moving to a new city, state and community in 2013 turned out to be a great life for me in 2015! New friendships , neighbors and a new lifestyle. Learned to love living by myself (and my dog Obi), so relaxing and I have fun with my neighbor/friends and have laughed more in the past year than I did in the past 20 years!
Where did I excel? HKC is growing, ministering to so many people, I am relaxed and hopefull about my life going forward. I have learned and thrived living alone, reaching out to others to minister to them. Started a neighborhood bible study and continued my faithart Sundays. Spent more time with God this year, relying on him in the little things and in the large. Less trying to take control and more accepting of situations. Letting go of guilt about the past, and trusting God with my future.
Where did I fail? Financially still not in the place I want to be. Hopefully the new financial plan I have created will get me to where I want to be. Physically achieved my weight loss goals in 2014 and 2015 allowed myself to stop exercising and gained weight.
How was God included (or excluded) in my previous word? He has been leading my life in 2015 through living exceedingly/abundantly! He is my daily partner, He gives me comfort and little hugs throughout my life. I recognize and give thanks for my life and all He has bestowed upon me.
Step 1: INTENTION AND CLARITY- EXAMINE YOUR PROGRESS
Think back to the person you were when you initially picked your word. Compare it to the individual you have become.
God has lead me on a wonderful journey the past 8 years. I am so different than when I began! I allow God to lead me, I have given up trying to control my life, being softer and more patient. Giving grace to others and to myself. Letting go of bitterness and hurt. Feeling free, abiding with God more, trusting Him more and more, staying steadfast learning to feel like his beloved.
Did you expect to see the amount of growth you have experienced over the past year? Or maybe you had difficulty with your word and didn’t see the full fruit of the word in your life. I didn’t have difficulty living or experiencing huperpleanozo, it showed up in unexpected events and places. I have been blessed with a new lifestyle, new skills ( video making, faithart techniques, business), new friends, new emotional support, trips for faithart and creating an online community!
How did God use your word in ways you were not expecting? See above
What are some lessons you have learned over the past year? Discerning between God’s voice and Satan’s voice. God stills me and Satan rushes me. God reassures me but Satan frightens me. God leads me and Satan pushes me. When I am stressed that means I am listening to Satan as God calms me! When I think something is falling apart, it is just falling together according to God! Even when I don’t understand, I need to let Him Lead me- He knows best ( not me).
What logos365™ is God giving you for 2016? Peace is the word and experience that he has placed on my heart in the past few weeks. He has had some experiences where I had to ask myself- do I choose peace or not? As I began to choose peace, I have been able to experience “peace that passes understanding”. I am looking forward to a year of living in peace, peace with others and peace on the earth.
Why do you feel that God is drawing you to this logos365™? Some situations that happened in November and December that I could have gone my old ways of being anxious, feeling used, angry, etc when God whispered to me to choose peace. I had to go and ask a person for forgiveness for an outburst I had and that really was used by God to show forgiveness to some new Christians I have in my life.
Write the bible verse or verses that support this word in your life.
God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God. Matthew 5:9
And he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace. Your suffering is over.” Matthew 5:34

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Col 3:15
Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 1 Thes 5:23
Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the Lord with pure hearts. 2 Tim 2:22
Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Heb 12:14
But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere. Jas 3:17
And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness. Jas 3:18
Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it. 1Peter 3:11
If you embraced and lived logos365™ daily, what could God do in your life and how would 2016 be different for you? To have an entire year of peace- I can’t describe what that would be like! I can dream about it, but am looking forward to experiencing it.
In what ways do you already live/follow this logos365™? I have had to choose peace over the past few months, so I am already living my word.
In what ways do you not live/follow this logos365™? When I compare, judge or feel anxious.
What old patterns or beliefs have kept you from living logos365™ until now? I can get busy with other things and then I lose the ability to rely on God for guidance.
Step 3: Dream Big: Know God’s Vision for me
List at least five goals (big or small) that God is seeking for you this year, based on the logos365™ He has put on your heart. Goals should be SMART (Specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely).
