Welcome to Advent in November. The inspiration for this blog post can be found here.
How difficult has it been for you to make a U-turn when you recognize you are sinning? Think of a U-turn as a direction you can focus on when you need to repent.
It is so difficult to make a U turn spiritually, physically or emotionally! When I am going fast towards something, to stop and pray, to slow down and not feel anger, or fear is almost impossible. I guess that is why the devil loves it so much when we run headstrong towards the wrong thing. He knows that we can't stop. However, as I have gotten older and spent more time in prayer, it is easier to stop and pray, because I am training myself to slow down and seek God first. How about you? Do you find it easy or hard to make a U turn?
I used lots of arrows and a big upside down U to symbolize how I need to slow down, turn away from the slippery slope. Real peace, real repentance, real comfort, real faith- are all real only when it is FROM GOD!
Loving this group and your response to the advent study.
What a treat each day to see how others interpret the prompts!
